 So, I haven't done this in a really long time.

I've been thinking lately, about how I can better express myself in regard to things I feel passionate about. People tend to quickly scroll through Facebook, and a small percentage actually see anything I have to say on there. I figure a blog would be a way for me to find my own audience, to perhaps find people who care to read about my thoughts and ramblings about things.

There is an even deeper  loneliness when the dysfunction lies on both sides of the family tree. Both my mother and my father's families. I Deserved A Seat At Your Table

 An open letter to my father, since nobody reads these anyway. That's right. I deserved a seat - at my own family's table, that I didn't get, and probably never will have. That's all I wanted, love without conditions , acceptance, and your time .  I didn't want your fucking money . That's the only thing you seemed to know how to do, was throw money my way, like crumbs, and expect everything to be ok. No. It's not okay.  Money doesn't solve everything. It doesn't take the place of all the times I just wanted to hang out with you, and be your daughter.                                                                             Supposed to be the best time of year, right?      I feel as if many people have lost the meaning of it. Commercialized it. A money racket. Why can't we normalize Christmas just being a time for family to get together, rather than all the pressure of feeling like one has to buy gifts?
